What is Cub Scouts All About?
Cub Scouts get into heaps of exciting indoor and outdoor activities that are designed to create lasting friendships, build teamwork and self confidence whilst having fun.
There are many outdoor activities such as rock climbing, abseiling, camping, bushwalking, canoeing, sailing and rafting. You can learn traditional Scouting skills such as tying knots and navigating using a map and compass. You’ll play games, help others to ‘do their best’, and learn what to do in an emergency. You’ll visit exciting places and may even have the opportunity to attend a State Cuboree.
Minimal annual fees are payable as well as costs associated with the uniform and occasional camps and other excursions.
The 2nd Clifton Hill Cub Scouts have two packs which meet every Tuesday 6.30-8.00pm and the other on Thursday 6.30-8.00pm during the ordinary school term.
For more information please contact the 2nd Clifton Hill Group Leader.
